Jose Carlos Blanco Martinez (Madrid), studied dance at the Escuela de Victor Ullate, becoming a member of Ullate's company at the age of sixteen, and promoted to principal dancer at the age of twenty. In 2001 he joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza (Spain) under the direction of Nacho Duato, where he worked as a principal dancer with choreographers such as J. Kylian, M. Ek, O. Naharin, J. Godani and Nacho Duato, among others. He joined the junior company CND2 and later the main company as rehearsal director under the direction of José Carlos Martínez. He is Artistic Coordinator of the gala "Somos Arte" (Valencia) and artistic director of the International Campus ADAM. He is currently an international freelance teacher in renowned companies and since 2017 he has been working as assistant to Juanjo Arques and collaborating as rehearsal assistant to Nacho Duato. In 2022 he begins to collaborate with W. Forsythe as stager.
