NACHO

Mr. Jose Ignacio Madrid Tortosa, borned in Amposta (Tarragona) in 1975. He began his music studies at the Circulo Artistic Musical of Gandia at the age of 9. One year later, he received his first piano lessons at the Aldaya Musical Society, with the tutelage of Mr. Fernando Taberner. 

He completed his official studies of musical theory and piano at the Torrente Music Conservatory with Mrs. Enriqueta Navarro and he  finished the piano speciality at the Music Conservatory "Manuel Massotti Littel" in Murcia. 

During his pianistic training he received classes from Mr. Gabriel Casero and Mr. Miguel Baro. He carried out an interpretation course with Mr. Miguel Angel Herranz and Mr. Adolfo Bueso and he participanted at the  piano pedagogy course with Mr. Ruben Fernandez Piccardo. 

Since 1996 he works as a musical theory and piano teacher at the Musical Education Center. (C.E.M.A.) in Alaquàs (Valencia). 

Since September 1999 to June 2002 he worked as a music theory and piano teacher at the College of Integrated Curriculum Buenavista of Alacuàs. 

From September 2001 to January 2006 he worked as a piano teacher and repertorist at the Ateneo Musical del Puerto in Valencia.

From October 2002 to January 2006 he was a Piano and Chamber Music teacher at "Luis Millan" Conservatory  in Xàtiva. 

Moreover, he performs a duo with flutist Mr. Juan Carlos Garcia Simon in recitals and concerts since December 2001. 

He also done and conducted the auditions for students at Jose Iturbi Conservatory.

He composed the music for the play "The Exception and the Rule" of Bernant Brench wich was released to the public in November 2003 in Alaquás. 

Since 2007 he is a founding member of the chamber group "Viva Voce classical music", which performs concerts throughout the Valencian Community.

Since January 2006 he works as interim teacher at different conservatories from the Community of Valencia, making his pianistic work these last 3 academic courses at the Conservatory of Dance in Valencia.
